Drunker than a skunkEvery weekend the sameOnce in four, a change

The whole world on hold.Unsure, what am I to do?Stay in; look inward.

Eyes closed in the fire And I’m off soaring in flight Again with the blaze

The day is now doneTomorrow, a ride aheadHappiness, but fear

I see their mouths move.Many promises coming;hear, “It’s about me.”
