Gratitude
“He who is not contented with what he has, would not be contented with what he would like to have.”
-Socrates
I am frequently in awe of the power of gratitude. Much of my life was spent always wanting something, whether it was newer, bigger, better, or more impressive. When I simply let myself be grateful for what I had, it was as if the sun finally came out after a long rainy weekend. I still have goals, and I most definitely want things, but my happiness no longer seems tied to their acquisition. When I look at my life, I must admit, I have enough. With that attitude, my nature has changed, and good things now seem to be drawn to my life.
